Yesterday was a long, tough day for us all at Kingsclere Stables after we made the decision to lockdown completely. We can confirm that as of today, all horses in work at Kingsclere have been relocated to spell for the imminent future. Kingsclere Stables will be closed until further notice and we will will endeavour to keep owners updated as soon as we know more.

We will now have to get our heads around how we are going to help our lovely and loyal staff, but at least we can now rest easy knowing that they will have the opportunity to self isolate. We feel that this was our only option under the regulations in regard to “alert level 4”.

We are very thankful to all the spelling farms that have taken our horses and will continue to over the foreseeable future, give them the highest quality of care.

At this tough time, we must look back on what has been such a great season for our staff and owners. It has been an incredible season and none of this could be possible without the support of everyone involved in our operation.

We wish everyone the very best from the team at Kingsclere Stables.
